Bikash Basumatary was a well known Bodo film actor and producer. He had acted in several films and albums besides being producer. He is remembered for playing various roles in variety of film genres, specially iconic villainous roles in Bodo films. The best-known action drama films in which he acted are Fathwilai Bisinai, Sathbangsa, Daoha and Barhungkhani Thwi. He was the president of Bodo Cine Artistes’ Association for two terms.
