Birjoy Brahma was an Indian student activist, social worker and school teacher. He was born on 5th August 1992 to Bodo speaking family Late Jati Brahma and Tileb Brahma at Roumari village of Amteka under Chirang district.
He began his early education from Khumguri LP School and then he joined for his middle and secondary education at Amteka ME & High School. He passed his matriculation examination from Amteka High School in 2009. He was the topper among students of his batch. He then went to Bongaigaon and passed his higher secondary examination from Bongaigaon Railway Higher Secondary in 2011. He completed his graduation from Science College, Kokrajhar in 2015.
Brahma was a young energetic and influential speaker, motivator, social worker, student activist and teacher. He was closely related to several organizations include All Bodo Students Union, All Brahma Dharma Youth Forum, Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Trust, Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Academy Board etc.
He was a dedicated social worker and good thinker too. He worked as an Asst. General Secretary of All Brahma Dharma Youth From from 2017 to 2020. He was the lifetime member of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Trust and member of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Academy Board.
As a student activist he worked as an education secretary, vice president and adviser for Dwimalu Unit Committee, ABSU, and deputy speaker and then speaker for Nichima Anchalik, ABSU. He was also the president of Unit ABSU under Science College, Kokrajhar.
He served as an Assistant teacher, Vice Principal and Principal of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Academy, Amteka till his death. He was died on 28th May 2023 around 2 a.m. due to motorcycle accident middle of the road from Amteka to Roumari (his village) while moving ahead towards home after felicitation program held at RCCC Auditorium Hall, Dhaligaon on account of matriculation result felicitation program organized by Government of Bodoland Territorial Region. During his serving as a principal of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Academy, Amteka passed three times hundred percent result in HSLC Final Examination.
